One of our investigations took us to the Lyric Theater in Blacksburg,
Virginia. It was a short job (getting us there at midnight and leaving just
after 4 am), but the experience of being there was great.
The Lyric is a beautiful theater with a long history. If ever in Blacksburg, Va., I do suggest a
stop in there to experience that beauty ... and maybe a little more.

We only had a couple of experiences while we were there.
An investigator was asking questions for some EVP's while walking up the aisle and he
heard what sounded like one of the chairs behind him opening or closing.

At another point (just after 3 am) we had the staff person come to us saying that the aisle
lights had come on (see video at bottom). We checked into it and could not find any rational
reason behind this. They have a not-so-simple light system there that my people would not
have known how to work. It was explained to me after this happened and I'm still not sure
exactly how they work. The down side to this experience is, though I trust all of my
investigators, I did not have a grasp on every one of them for verification. On video I see
two go out the back into a hall (no switches are around that area), and myself and another
were looking into an area above the screen. The only other person with me was with the
staff person from the theater.

Watch camera 3 (bottom left). You will see the aisle lights come up apparently by
themselves. I cannot be sure where everyone was as that exact time.
